The Southeast Precinct is looking for volunteers for the 19th annual SAFE (Safety Awareness Fitness and Education) event. Please join us and be a part of this fun, educational and interactive event. We plan for 1000 participants to attend the SAFE event on Saturday, June 4th from 1 - 4pm at the Turner Park, Midtown Crossing, 3110 Farnam Street.
SAFE is a FREE event open to the community. It will feature Omaha Police Department displays: ABLE 1, Mounted Patrol, the Omaha Fire Department’s Smoke House and fire engine, Nebraska State Patrol, and more. There will be a bike rodeo to teach young riders the importance of safety and following the rules, clowns, face painting, games, raffles and food.
