Celebrate Christmas in the Village at Boys Town on Sunday, December 8th from 5-8 p.m.
For a lot of Boys Town kids, Christmas is a very different experience. Growing up in broken homes in neighborhoods plagued by poverty, crime and substance abuse, the holidays were no different from any other time of the year. Because in December, just as in March or July, every day simply presented a struggle to survive.
So when kids come to Boys Town, along with the prospect of making new lives for themselves, many have the opportunity to experience their first real Christmas.
Volunteers will be placed at the Hall of History Museum where they will deliver sweet treats for the youth and their family teachers after carolers serenade them with a song from the season.
Please sign-up to express interest and be contacted by Boys Town staff.
