Description

United Way of the Midlands partners with the U.S. Postal Service’s Stamp Out Hunger food drive, the largest one-day food drive in the nation, to fight food insecurity in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro.

Locally, Stamp Out Hunger provides non-perishable food donations the following nonprofits: Heartland Family Service, Salvation Army, Siena Francis House, The Stephen Center, and St. Vincent de Paul.

The National Association of Letter Carriers has requested volunteer support on May 11. There are 4 stations that mail carriers will be bringing donations back to, and we are looking for 10-12 volunteers total.

Each station has a separate registration page. If you are interested in bringing a group to fill all available volunteer spots, please feel free to register directly or contact volunteer@uwmidlands.org.
