United Way of the Midlands is thrilled to announce Volunteers United! Volunteers United is more than a volunteer group—it’s your chance to connect with other caring people, supporting critical nonprofit programs and building a stronger community. Whether you’re lending a hand at key events or helping behind the scenes, your time and energy will create ripples of good across the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro and support the essential work of United Way of the Midlands (UWM).
Volunteer opportunities are flexible to your schedule - sign-up when it works for you! Opportunities will include assisting with fundraising events and campaigns, annual volunteer events, mailings, general office work, volunteer recruitment, inventory management and more. Each and every volunteer member will have a direct impact in helping build a better, stronger tomorrow for our community

Ensure each guest feel welcome and guide them to the United Way of the Midlands (UWM) office as we cut the ribbon on our new location in Millwork Commons, introduce our new Strategic Plan and say thank you to everyone who made this all possible.
Volunteers will work in pairs at transition points and greet all guests helping them find the office with ease. After greeting guests, volunteers are welcome to stay for the event and assist with serving guests.
