Ahead of the 2026 voter registration deadlines, RISE Policy & Advocacy is making sure interested community members know about the removal of the two year waiting period for people with felony convictions and sharing resources to register to vote. Join us to make phone calls to remind our neighbors of the removal of this barrier to civic participation and share resources to register to vote! Refreshments and training provided on-site.
Each Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5:30 - 7:30 from July 7th through October 15th, join us for phone banking at the RISE Omaha office. Sign up for shifts on the RISE website here.
To register for this volunteer project, please register above and click the blue “sign-up” button on the top right. This process of registering in both places is vital to track volunteer outcomes and measure the efficiency of United Way of the Midlands’ Get Connected platform to meet the volunteer recruitment and referral needs of the nonprofits we serve.
