Threshold CoC is hosting Project Connect (Formerly known as Project Homeless Connect Omaha), a FREE one-day, one-stop shop event where folx that are currently unhoused or at risk of losing their housing can receive a variety of on-site services and support. Resources available at the event consist, but are not limited to: Healthcare & Wellness, legal aid, medicaid/disability benefit application assistance, housing and shelter, workforce assistance etc. This year the event will be hosted at Baxter Arena on October 21, 2025 from 10:00 am - 3:00pm.
Navigators will be paired with consumers on a 1:1 ratio and assist folx in accessing services they are interested in. Folx with no knowledge or beginner understandings of the Omaha Metro Area homelessness system and its resources should register as "Beginner Navigators". Folx that have extended knowledge of the Omaha Metro Area Homelessness Continuum of Care (case managers, street outreach workers, etc) should register as "Advanced Navigators".
Requirements
Volunteers are expected to attend one (1) training session prior to the event. Three online training sessions will be available via Zoom and details will be emailed to volunteers approximately one (1) week prior to the selected training date. Volunteers are expected to create their own calendar holds prior to receiving Zoom meeting details in their email. If you are unable to join any of the sessions below, please select "NEED ALTERNATIVE TIME" and we will reach out to you with alternative training methods :)
