City Sprouts teaches at the after school program at both Lewis and Clark and King Science middle schools. Students learn about the food system, how to grow food, culinary skills, and more throughout the school year---and both schools have outdoor grow spaces. We could really use some extra hands at the gardens this summer to make sure they are looking great when the kids return to school this fall. Join Education Manager, Cian, for some much needed mid summer maintenance.
Tools/gloves provided (but feel free to bring your own if you have some you like). Dress for the weather and bring a water bottle. There will be no indoor access at the school garden.
Please park in the West parking lot of the school, the garden is located on the west side of the building. Cian will meet you there.
A confirmation email will be sent out the week before the volunteer event. We will cancel if there is heavy rain/storms.
