Who We Are
City Sprouts is a community garden and urban farm located in the Orchard Hill neighborhood of north Omaha. Established in 1995, City Sprouts is the oldest community garden in Omaha. Our mission is to use urban agriculture as a platform to develop equitable food systems, provide educational opportunities, and build community.
What We Do
We work to educate Omaha-area residents about food systems and sustainability, as well as to grow fruits, vegetables, flowers and herbs using environmentally responsible and sustainable gardening techniques. We provide an inclusive and accessible space where people of diverse ages and backgrounds can work and grow together.
