This project will assist our literacy and public health programs to continue with important ongoing operations.
Book Stickering - donated and purchased books for the Raise Me to Read program will need to be cleaned and labeled. Once labeled, they will be sorted by age group and shelved so that they are able to be distributed easily to community partners hosting book giveaway events.
Mail Packing - each month a letter is sent to families newly eligible for Medicaid on the services available to them and the importance of well-child visits for their child's growth nd development. Mailing information will be folded (using a folding machine), then stuffed into envelopes.
Both of these tasks can be completed while seated in a space that is accessible by elevator.
