Who We Are

Mission: To improve the dignity, quality of life and physical well-being of seniors from around the world through advocacy, education, access to social services, and cultural enrichment activities that benefit the entire community.

The Intercultural Senior Center (ISC), located in Omaha, Nebraska, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for seniors from diverse cultural backgrounds. ISC serves older adults who may face language barriers, isolation, or limited access to social and health services. The center provides a welcoming environment that celebrates diversity and promotes social interaction, health, and independence.

What We Do

Key services provided by ISC include health education, case management, social activities, and English language instruction. They also offer transportation assistance, meals, and fitness classes to encourage healthy living. The organization partners with local agencies to connect seniors with essential services such as healthcare, housing assistance, and legal support. ISC aims to reduce isolation among seniors and provide a supportive, multicultural community where they can thrive.
