Who We Are
Big Muddy Urban Farm is a collective of local food producers in Omaha. We are concerned with the current state of the food system at large. Moreover, we recognize the social and environmental injustices that have negatively impacted our neighborhoods and believe that food plays a prominent role in the overall health of our community. By providing a local and diverse source of fruits, vegetables and herbs, as well as sharing skills and resources with our community, we hope to encourage communal resilience, empowerment, and a more localized economy. We are committed to engaging sustainably in our financial, environmental and cultural practices, by responding and adapting to the dynamic urban environment in which we live.
What We Do
