Who We Are

The Nebraska Urban Indian Health Coalition, Inc (NUIHC) is a non-profit agency whose mission is to elevate the health status of Urban Indians and other underserved populations.

We address health disparities through education, collaboration, advocacy, and health service delivery.

What We Do

We are dedicated to delivering comprehensive community health care and services tailored to the urban American Indian and Alaska Native populations in the greater Omaha metropolitan area, Lincoln-Lancaster metropolitan area, and Sioux City, Iowa. Our offerings encompass a wide range of programs, including youth and elder services, primary care, and transportation that is open to everyone in the community. Additionally, our Intertribal Residential Treatment Program provides culturally-relevant, co-ed residential substance use treatment specifically designed for Native Americans.
