Who We Are
Charles Drew Health Center, Inc. (CDHC) was incorporated in 1983 as a not-for profit, federally qualified Health Center (FQHC). CDHC continues to provide a “one-stop shop” health care delivery system. The system is designed to meet the medical needs of all life cycles in a family centered environment. CDHC has a full complement of board certified physicians including internal medicine physicians, family practice physicians, a pediatrician, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, medical assistants, radiologist, dentists, dental hygienist, dental assistants, pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, psychologist, behavioral health specialist, nutritionists, volunteer optometrists, a part-time podiatrist and a cardiologist.

Charles Drew Health Center is committed to providing quality comprehensive health care in a manner that acknowledges the dignity of the individual, the strength of the family and the supportive network of the community.
Through 12 primary health care delivery sites, they have met the medical, dental, behavioral health and fitness and nutrition needs of thousands of men, women and children in the Omaha metropolitan area. Last year, Charles Drew Health Center served nearly 12,000 patients, accounting for just under 40,000 patient visits!
