Crossroads of Western Iowa

Crossroads of Western Iowa is a non-profit organization devoted to supporting adults in our community who, for various reasons, are unable to live completely on their own. Most have some sort of intellectual or physical disability, or are dealing with serious mental illness. For over 40 years, our goal has been to teach our clients life skills and help attain independence. We provide residential options, programming and employment opportunities, so they can reach their full potential at home, at work and in their communities.

For more than 40 years, Crossroads of Western Iowa has been empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enjoy an enhanced quality of life. Through the power of our mission, more than 300 individuals and their families have reached beyond and achieved dreams they never thought were possible. Together, our compassionate team opens their hearts and inspires a world of possibilities for families of intellectual and developmentally disabled individuals.
