Who We Are

Mission: To assist survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking and stalking and their children to achieve safety and empower them to lead self-determined lives.

WCA Omaha was established in 1893 and has provided an array of services including a dormitory, children’s camp, and non traditional career training for women. The WCA expanded its services to include domestic violence and sexual assault in 1974. Today, our focus is helping survivors who have been affected by intimate partner violence, sexual assault and human trafficking to become safe and self-sufficient.

What We Do

WCA programs strategically address the many issues facing victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, while working to reduce the number of future victims through education and prevention. WCA offers comprehensive, free services for anyone in Omaha who is experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking. Through the legal guidance, peer support, self-sufficiency services, the WCA assures that victims have everything they need to create a safe, strong and self determined life for themselves and their families.
