Mission: To alleviate poverty at a root level by uniting and strengthening vulnerable neighborhoods.

We believe no one should have to face a lifetime of poverty simply because of the zip code they were born into. inCOMMON alleviates poverty at a root level by uniting and strengthening vulnerable neighborhoods. inCOMMON believes that the greatest strength of any neighborhood are the residents who call these places home. We are committed to transforming neighborhoods through the neighbors themselves. We do this by building on residents’ strengths and empowering neighbors to use these strengths to lead neighborhood chance.

inCOMMON’s programs focus on skill development, relational support, and leadership development, leading to individual, family, and neighborhood transformation.

•  Skill Development – Citizenship, ESL, financial, homebuyer, tax, resume, and other workshops, one-on-one job coaching
• Relational Support – cultural and social events, monthly community meals, interest-based clubs and meetings
• Leadership Development – youth leadership development training, facilitated community organizing
