Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska is the largest girl serving organization in the state, serving nearly 17,000 girl and adult members. We operate six camp properties, one Girl Scout DreamLab, one outdoor education center, and three service centers spread across the state to give girls easy access to the natural world and many opportunities to participate in Girl Scout Programs.
Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska’s four core programs “pillars” are STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), Outdoors, Life Skills, and Entrepreneurship. The inclusive, girl-led, all-female environment of Girl Scouts fosters a space in which girls can try new things, develop a range of skills, take on leadership roles, and feel comfortable failing. Through our age and grade-level appropriate curriculum, Girl Scouts not only participate, but take the lead in a range of activities from camping to coding, building their financial literacy and relationship skills.
