Blue Collar Boxing

Blue
Collar Boxing is an exciting and competitive boxing event featuring
local labor union members that raises money for our community.

We’re all fighting for the same thing: a
better, stronger and more vibrant community.

Hosted by the Omaha Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO (American
Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations), and United Way of the Midlands, proceeds from the event
will strengthen our community by supporting the efforts of United Way of the Midlands and the Nebraska Center for Workforce Development and Education. That means every time you buy a ticket, you’re making a difference right here in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro.

United Way and the AFL-CIO have been partners since 1941. Their
relationship is built upon their shared desire to better our local
community. This is the first year United Way of the Midlands and the
AFL-CIO have joined forces to host this amateur boxing match, which they

About NCWDE: The Nebraska Center for Workforce Development and Education is a nonprofit focused on increasing the qualified workforce in Nebraska, specifically within the trades and growing the trades’ workforce to support the infrastructure of the State of Nebraska.
