Who We Are

Mission: To provide diapers through collaborative partnerships to change lives & empower families in need.

Nebraska Diaper Bank is a nonprofit organization committed to addressing diaper need in Nebraska by providing diapers to low-income families through collaborative partnerships. Recognizing that one in three families in Nebraska struggles to afford diapers, the organization aims to alleviate this burden, which is essential for a child’s health and well-being.

What We Do

Key Programs and Services:

  • Diaper Distribution: Nebraska Diaper Bank partners with social service agencies and religious organizations to distribute diapers to families in need. Each partner organization receives 60-80 diapers per child, providing a two-week supply. This approach ensures that diapers reach those who need them most and encourages parents to engage with programs that can help break the cycle of poverty.
  • Community Partnerships: By collaborating with established community organizations, Nebraska Diaper Bank extends its reach and effectiveness. These partnerships help address both diaper and food insecurity, as some parents have been known to deny their children drinks to save on diaper usage.
  • Volunteer Program: Nebraska Diaper Bank would not exist without dedicated volunteers.  Volunteer sessions are hosted 3-5 times per week and include public sessions, private sessions, and mobile sessions.  To learn more about how you can get involved, contact Mikaela : mikaela@nebraskadiaperbank.org.
