Who We Are

Omaha’s first Habitat ReStore, located at 1003 S. 24 St., opened its doors in 2000 and has been selling building materials and home fixtures at a fraction of the retail cost ever since.

In August 2012, Omaha’s second Habitat ReStore opened at 10910 Emmet St. Both locations are open to the public and proud to offer affordable, eco-friendly ways for those living in and around the Omaha area to purchase quality new and used home maintenance and building supplies. Omaha’s Habitat ReStore outlets have diverted a substantial number of usable items from local landfills. In 2016, more than 3,200 tons of materials were diverted from the landfill and given a second life through Habitat ReStore.

What We Do

Habitat ReStore is a discount home improvement outlet that sells new, used, and surplus merchandise at prices 50-70% less than their retail cost. In addition to providing the public with low-cost building materials, Habitat ReStore helps the environment by diverting usable materials from local landfills. Since 2001, Omaha’s Habitat ReStore outlets have diverted approximately 20,800 tons of material from the landfill.
