Proceeds from The Salvation Army Thrift Stores fund many programs for our community and you can be part of ensuring donated items are consistently available for purchase at these stores.
At our Council Bluffs store, you can make an impact by getting items out and priced or by sorting through donations and organizing the store for a sales event. There are multiple ways you can gain job skills and meet new people.
Help is needed at the Council Bluffs store Monday through Saturday. Shifts are available between 8a and 5p but we can also customize a schedule for you if needed.
This is an opportunity you can try once or commit to an ongoing schedule. Come by yourself or register as a group for a day of rewarding service! Ideal candidates are comfortable standing, walking, bending, and are able to lift 10-20 pounds. Youth ages 16 and older can volunteer without an adult present, with a guardian permission form on file.
