Thank you for joining us in this year's Day of Caring event held on September 12, 2025! Day of Caring is United Way of the Midlands largest community-wide day of service where individuals, families, and teams of coworkers and friends can volunteer at nonprofit agencies and schools throughout the greater metropolitan area. Volunteer teams of all sizes tackle meaningful projects addressing community and agency needs. United Way of the Midlands facilitates this event to promote and celebrate the spirit of volunteerism throughout our service area of Douglas, Sarpy and Pottawattamie Counties.

Siena Francis House provides shelter guests with clothing and hygiene items from our clothing closet to help them thrive. All clothing is sourced through donations, which are received, organized, and sorted by volunteers at the dock. Volunteer tasks include folding and assembling linen sets, organizing the clothing closet, and receiving donations from Omaha community members.
