Volunteers support Catholic Charities' Mobile Food Pantry by traveling to Macy, NE and Walthill, NE for this drive-thru food distribution program. Volunteers begin the day packing food boxes and then help load food into vehicles as they come through the line, in Macy in the morning and Walthill in the afternoon.
This Mobile Pantry is held on the first Tuesday of each month on the Omaha Tribe Reservation and the volunteer time frame is approximately 9am-3pm, excluding travel time.
Volunteers are asked to drive their own vehicle or carpool together and will be outside throughout the day and should plan accordingly.
Please note that all first-time volunteers must complete our online Catholic Charities Volunteer Application to indicate specific date/time preferences and sign our Volunteer Agreement, in addition to any registration on United Way Volunteer Hub.
