Commit to monthly cleanups by adopting a public area such as a neighborhood or business corridor, stream or trail segment, storm drains, or a school campus. Individuals or groups can register for Adopt-a-Spot in the spring, with regular cleanups taking place March through October! Click HERE to learn more.
- Perform a litter cleanup in your spot at least once a month between March-October, including the surrounding storm drains
- Submit an online reporting form to Keep Omaha Beautiful after each cleanup
- Act as the eyes of the spot. If you notice any issues like new graffiti, illegal dumping, etc., please include this in your reporting form
- Care for the storm drains in your area and report any broken or clogged drains to the Omaha Mayor's Hotline
- Optional, additional activities can include sweeping sidewalks or parking lots, raking leaves, picking up branches, etc
