Mission: To preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

The Salvation Army is a faith-based, non-profit organization that provides social services and meets basic human needs without discrimination. It has a reputation for serving those who are most in need, including individuals with mental illness, senior citizens, the homeless, individuals in addiction recovery, families in crisis and children.

What We Do

The Salvation Army of Omaha helps metro-area individuals and families in need via eight main programs and services:  food, housing, youth development, material assistance, behavioral health, older adult services, anti-human trafficking, and emergency disaster services.
