Who We Are

Mission: To help individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges achieve their unique potential and live, work, learn and contribute in a community of mutual support.

Community Alliance started as a local grassroots organization in 1981 and each of our services has been developed to respond to specific requests for help from the community. We were the first freestanding community mental health program in Nebraska to serve solely adults.

We believe in the potential of recovery for all individuals with mental illness and we dedicate our resources to support the journey of each individual we serve.

Our quality of care has earned us top-tier national accreditation scores. The hope, integrity and respect we bring to people who struggle with mental illness, and other mental health challenges, is why we are a place where recovery is a reality.

What We Do

We offer first-tier mental health services based on evidenced-based practices and nationally recognized treatment models.

Community Alliance is also actively involved in efforts to address the stigma of mental illness, including annually hosting Breaking the Silence, one of the region’s largest community events dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding about mental illness and eliminating the fear and discrimination that affects the one in four families across our community and State who are directly impacted by mental illness.
