Cross Training Center

Who We Are

Mission: To equip unemployed and undereducated adults through vocational training and job experience so they can attain employment and become financially successful.

The Cross Training Center provides vocational training and hands-on work experience. Their programs offer participants opportunities to work as refurbishing technicians, retail clerks, e-waste recyclers, mechanics, event planners, and more. By engaging in these roles, individuals gain practical skills and experience that enhance their employability and financial independence. The center focuses on assisting those who have faced significant life challenges, including domestic abuse, human trafficking, incarceration, homelessness, and generational poverty. Through their comprehensive approach, the Cross Training Center aims to break the cycle of poverty and empower individuals to lead self-sufficient lives.

What We Do

We empower and equip those who have been incarcerated, homeless, involved in gangs or substance abuse, who have been a victim of human trafficking, have challenging mental or emotional disorders or who live in poverty for numerous reasons.  We equip these individuals with life changing tools so they can overcome the challenges of entering the workforce and being financially successful for themselves and their families. Our workforce development program provides valuable services to the general public.  These services include recycling electronics, computer sales and service, used electronics and appliance store. Also, we have our social hall that’s available for renting out for special occasions.   All sales and services from these entities provide training and experience for our students going through our workforce development program.
