Language & Culture School of Omaha (LACSO)

The Language & Culture School of Omaha (LACSO) seeks to offer English language opportunities for immigrant populations in Eastern Nebraska and Southwest Iowa, while collaborating with other nonprofits interested in establishing programs by offering training in the teaching and tutoring of ESL adults.

We provide ESL and Citizenship classes for immigrants throughout the community. We have helped hundreds learn Basic and Advanced English. We have given hundreds of families the skills needed to help them better communicate with school personnel. We are helping students study for the citizenship exam. We are expanding our program to help local businesses better prepare their employees for the workplace
