Dedicated frontline and essential workers have continued to show up every day to serve our community through out the pandemic. These are the people who have kept our community safe and functioning during this challenging time. Join us is sharing our appreciation and gratitude for their hard work!
Whether you take 5 minutes out of your day to write or card or write a card while you're waiting in line, you can submit a card at any time because it only takes a few moments. Cards will be accepted throughout the month of April and then distributed to workers in May.

Your card will be printed out by United Way of the Midlands staff and sent directly to the worker that you designated.
- Healthcare workers - Staff at Nebraska Medicine COVID unit and Methodist Hospital
- Grocery employees - Staff at Omaha Baker's and Target
- Fire fighters and EMT - Staff at Omaha fire station
