Volunteer: Shine Bright Kit Assembly and Box Making | July 29-30

Assembly and Box Making volunteers support the efficient assembly of Shine Bright kits, ensuring students receive essential full-sized hygiene products.

Please find kit assembly volunteer shifts at the bottom of the page.

Tasks include:

   - Product restocking with a pallet jack or cart
   - Kit assembly 
   - Quality Assurance (counting/inventory management)
   - Recycling product packaging materials
   - Taping, labeling and moving boxes to the corresponding line for the next assembly shift 
   - Light to moderate lifting may be required for volunteers boxing at the end of the assembly line

What to expect: 

   - Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing
   - Park at the South entrance lot of the Mid-America Center
   - Training and orientation at the start of the shift

   - Starting event clean up
   - Volunteers will be lifting up to 15 lbs., and moving and bending throughout the shift
