Volunteer: IBBG's 3rd Annual Heart, Sole, & Roll Community Stroll

We invite you to volunteer at IBBG's 3rd Annual Heart, Sole & Roll 5k Community Stroll, a joyful celebration kicking off Black Maternal Health Week on April 11th from 8 AM - 12 PM. Guided by this year's theme, Rooted in Justice & Joy, this signature event will take place in the heart of North Omaha to uplift wellness, honor maternal health, and strengthen community bonds through movement and togetherness.

The event will kick off at the Anarcha Center, and utilize the North Omaha Trail.

There are a variety of ways you could assist:

Set Up  Crew - 8:00 AM -10:00 AM: This shift assists with getting all the necessary items ready for the walk/run. Registration - 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM: This shift will check in walk/run participants, gathering waivers, and ensuring participants who do not consent to photographs, receive a red sticker. Trail Champions/Runners - 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Ensuring participants have what they need on the trail, including navigating the trail, and knowing where activities are. Kids Corner Assistance - 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: This shift assists with the activities available to the children in attendance Clean Up - 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM: This shift assists with break down, and trash pick up.

Volunteer: Father Flanagan House Projects

The National Historic Landmark Father Flanagan House museum is the former residence of Servant of God Edward J. Flanagan founder of Boys Town.


A volunteer team of 4 to 5 people is needed to help clean out a storage area and to clean the rooms. The projects would help to prepare the historic house for the upcoming tourism season. The projects would include sweeping, dusting, and polishing.

Volunteer: Help Make a Difference Behind the Scenes — Warehouse Shift!

Do you love staying organized and getting things done? We’d love to have you join us! Come serve with Heartland Hope Mission at our West O Location (15555 Industrial Road) on Wednesday, 04/22 from 9:30am–11:30am, where your help makes a direct impact.

Volunteers will help sort donations, stock pantry shelves, prepare supplies for upcoming outreaches, and assist with a variety of warehouse projects. Every box packed and shelf stocked helps us better serve families in our community—and we couldn’t do it without you!
