Assist families in collecting and carrying their holiday gifts. Provide friendly, respectful, and compassionate support to all participants.Help keep the distribution area organized and efficient. Contribute to a festive, welcoming atmosphere for families. 

This opportunity is best for volunteers ages 16+, youth volunteers ages 16-17 can volunteer independently with a guardian permission form on file. Volunteers should be comfortable standing, bending, and lifting up to 25lbs.

Volunteers will decorate tables with decor provided by Boys Town, then assist Boys Town Visitors' Center kitchen staff providing table service, bringing the meals to youth dining in the hall and with clean up after dinner.Volunteers should be comfortable walking and carrying plates.Please wear comfortable shoes. Holiday sweaters encouraged.

Through an interdisciplinary team: nurse, home health aide, social worker, Chaplin, music therapist, massage therapists and volunteers, we help the patient and family walk through their journey. Whether you are needing community service hours or wanting to gain some experience in the medical field or share your musical talent, we have an amazing Volunteer program to educate about Hospice volunteering. We need compassionate volunteers to assist us in our facilities while family members are out of town celebrating the holidays. No one wants to alone on the holidays and you can help with your time!
