Keep our community clean and welcoming by collecting litter and debris along the parade route after the Labor Day Parade. Your support ensures public spaces are restored quickly and safely for Omaha residents and visitors.
Tasks:
- Stack all tables and chairs.
- Pick up trash and dispose of it in the dumpster.
- Empty beverage troughs.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting and carrying light trash bags.
- Standing and moving for the duration of the volunteer shift.
Training and Support:
- Brief orientation and route assignment provided by event staff.
- Cleanup supplies, such as gloves and trash bags, will be provided.
Parking and Arrival:
- Please use Omaha Park metered parking. Parking will be free due to the holiday.
- Volunteers will meet Jon Day outside of the Diamond Room. Address listed at the bottom of the opportunity.
Additional Details:
- Feel free to come early to enjoy a free hot dog lunch!
- Restrooms are available for volunteers inside the Diamond Room.
